Our 7m high main wall has routes from the simple to the technically complex we’ve got something for all levels and abilities. The routes are set making use of a variety of different sized and types of hold along with natural features which form part of the wall. Routes are graded and changed regularly.

Our bouldering wall allows climbing without using ropes and harness (free climbing). This wall is not very high and is ideal for children to learn the basics

If you’re a beginner then it’s a good idea to take advantage of our classes where you can experience the thrill of climbing. All our climbing courses are taught by qualified instructors.

CERTIFICATED CLIMBING COURSES FOR CHILDREN
Saturday mornings during term time.
9.00 am to 10.30 am and 10.30 to 12.00 pm

ADULT INTRODUCTORY CLIMBING COURSES [ACL 047]
A basic safe practice course [8 week x 2hr sessions] for adults with no previous experience who wish to achieve competence at bottom rope climbing on artificial walls and beyond.
Wed 7.00pm to 9.00pm 		  ADULT LEAD CLIMBING COURSE [ACL 048]
An 8 x2hr course designed for climbers who wish to improve personal performance and acquire leading skills and belaying skills on bolted artificial walls and on single pitch sport climbs.
Tues 7.00pm to 9.00pm
     
ADULT INDUCTION AND TRAINING
Thursdays from 6.00pm. Cost £8.00 per session on a drop in basis. Following successful induction adults can supervise up to 2 novice climbers on the wall. A monthly pass, unlimited use is available to inducted adult wall users Cost. £25.00.		   INDEPENDENT LEAD CLIMBING.
Climbers wishing to lead climb on the wall must bring their own equipment [rope and 5 quick draws.] They will need to do a lead induction
     

FAMILY CLIMBING SESSIONS
Sundays from 9.00am to 1.00pm
For independent adult users [inducted adults] and up to 2 children.
Cost £10.00 inclusive of equipment hire.

   SCHOOL HOLIDAY CLIMBING COURSES FOR CHILDREN.
Daily from 10.00 to 12.00pm and 1.00pm to 3.00pm
Cost £12.0 per session or £20 per day
     
LEARN TO CLIMB IN A WEEKEND [2 days]
Intensive courses at aspire and a southern sandstone venue.
Cost £80.00 inclusive of all equipment.

Independent climbers are advised to ring the centre to check what else is on when they intend to climb especially at week ends, i.e. children’s climbing parties etc.[ best avoided!]
     
SITE SPECIFIC INSTRUCTOR AWARD
This course is open to educational professionals working for the borough of Wandsworth. Qualification entitles the award holder to instruct small groups on our wall within their terms of employment and with their own institutions insurance cover. Next course commences on Thursdays in September 2009 from 4.30 to 6.00pm [6 sessions and assessment]		  

VOLUNTARY SECTOR COMMUNITY GROUPS.
We run 1hr 30 min inclusive climbing sessions for community groups up to 16 climbers on Monday and Friday evenings, 6.30 to 8.oopm. Cost £4.00 per climber including equipment hire. Problem solving and team building sessions can also be arranged.

     
CLIMBING PARTIES FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS.
These are available on Saturday and Sunday afternoons for up to 16 children. A 2 hour climbing session on the low level wall and main wall. A party room can also be booked. Suitable for 6 to 60 year olds and above. Please note that our climbing walls are outside and subject to the weather. Climbers should bring a warm top and waterproof jacket. We reserve the right to cancel on safety grounds in the case of extreme weather.
Cost £120.00 plus £5.00 per child. Party room £10.00		   PRIVATE LESSONS FOR INDIVIDUALS AND SMALLS GROUPS
Cost £30.00 per hr plus entry fee. [max 4 climbers]

HIRE A BELAYER.
Cost £15.00 per hr plus entry fee.

CLIMBING COMPETITIONS/ CHARITY EVENTS.
These usually take place on Saturdays. Date s and times as advertised.
     
SMSC [Southfields Mountain Sports Club]
A BMC affiliated club for hill-walkers and climbers
Social climbing evening Thursdays. Full summer and winter programme of activities and training sessions. New members welcome.		   SAFETY HELMETS are recommended and are available free of charge. They must be worn be all juniors and adults under instruction.

EQUIPMENT HIRE is available for hire at a cost of £2.00 [rock shoes, harness and belay device]
